KBM uses custom-made graphite-based consumables with complex shapes. For these, a lot of machining is required, causing these parts to be very expensive. Therefore, KBM is looking for alternative manufactering methods, shapes, or materials to reduce the costs.

The cost of the consumables KBM produces are very high. By creating alternative methods, shapes, or materials we hope to reduce these costs and make the consumables less expensive.
