AVR specializes in processing various types of residual waste. We convert this waste into energy and raw materials for households and businesses. AVR operates two locations where waste is transformed into energy and raw materials: Duiven and Rozenburg. In addition, AVR has four transfer stations located in The Hague, Utrecht, and the heart of Rotterdam. The central location of these sites is highly beneficial for both waste suppliers and customers receiving energy and raw materials. Waste is transported as much as possible by water and, where this is not possible, by road. AVR employs 450 people.
