How do we measure and improve biodiversity at our complexes?
At Vesteda, we want to make biodiversity at our complexes transparent and improve it. This starts with measurement: which plants, animals, and green features are present? Which maps and ecological scans can we use for this, and how do we translate these into a biodiversity score?

That score helps us determine where opportunities lie. Can we add more greenery? Create water features? Provide nesting opportunities? By focusing on these elements, we can increase biodiversity. For each complex, we want clear insight into which levers we can pull — in an easy-to-understand way.

It is important that we tailor our approach to each location. Every complex is different, so we continually look for suitable solutions that work both for the environment and for the residents.
