As GVB we would like to have insight in our MKI (Environmental Cost Indicator) status in our supply chain. As a company we want to become more sustainable, also in our supply chain. To measure how sustainable your warehouse is, the Dutch MKI (Environmental Cost Indicator) is used. This indicator will be one of our main KPIs from next year and it is therefore important that we gain good insight into it. GVB seeks a monitoring system to track the Environmental Cost Indicator (MKI) of its warehouse operations, providing insight into the sustainability of its supply chain. This system will help ensure compliance with MKI standards by 2025 and support GVB’s commitment to becoming more sustainable.
Business Model Canvas. The desired result is a monitoring system in which we can keep track of what goes out and what comes in to the warehouse. We can also see whether we operate within the MKI standard that will be used from 2025.
