Some of our radar systems are engineered tight, such that they are water- and dustproof inside. However, radar systems need to transmit energy to detect objects. Just like our bird and drone radars. With that a lot of heat is generated within the system. As it is so tight the heat is trapped and the systems become warmer on the inside, leading to high temperatures that could influence the performance of our radar systems.
The challenge is to come up with a solution to cool down the inside temperature of the radar, where the performance doesn’t decrease. In this way, our radar systems can detect and track birds in warmer locations on earth to enable a safe environment for them.
This challenge is crucial for maintaining radar system reliability and safety. High temperatures inside can lead to malfunctions and impact bird and drone tracking. Finding an energy-efficient cooling solution is not only environmentally responsible but also promotes technological advancement in radar engineering. By addressing this challenge, we ensure accurate tracking, safety, and reduced environmental impact, benefiting both technology and the environment.
Find a solution to cool down the internal temperature of our radar, where the performance doesn’t decrease and the specifications of water- and dustproof still hold.
