In today’s manufacturing industry, the shift towards servitization is becoming more and more important. Instead of only selling products, companies increasingly offer their products as a service, think of “light-as-a-service,” “mobility-as-a-service,” or “equipment-as-a-service.” This model creates opportunities for recurring revenue and stronger customer relationships, but also introduces new challenges in asset management, automation, and data-driven optimization.
