1. Description of the challenge

As trash is burned there will be remaining ashes. These ashes hold valuable materials. We have instalations that take out these valuable subtances but not every parts can be taken out. a big parts of these remains are ashes and smaller than 5mm in size. We are looking for a way to take out <1mm non-ferro materials like, copper, brass, zinc, stainless steel, lead, titanium, etc.

There are machines that can take out parts between the 1mm and 5mm but smaller than 1mm is a problem. There are machine that can take at these small particels but these are slow and can get all non-ferros out.

This is important for our organisation and off course the whole recycling industry. On our behalf: We make instalations that take out these parts but we also have our own lines to process these garbage ashes. Having a solution for thisĀ  problem will give us and our clients more profit when getting our leftovers back into the industry. This will make recycling more profitable and ofcourse more interesting. The more intrest there is, the more recycling will be challanged.

2. Expected outcome

We would like to have 2 to 3 possible solutions on the problem we've stated. We would like to see an elevator pitch and a note as an ourcome of this challange.
