Cycling on an e-bike is extremely popular. But the associated speed significantly increases the number of road casualties with serious injuries or even fatality as a consequence. According to the Safety NL knowledge centre, the number of road casualties has risen by twenty percent in ten years. This increase is largely due to the increased use of e-bikes. Still, the use of helmets is not mandatory while helmets could aid a lot in decreasing the risk when falling. Therefore, we want to find a way to motivate e-bike users to wear helmets.
A way to motivate e-bike users to wear helmets. This can be in any form, for example an insurance plan, bonus system, a campain, or something completely different.
