1. Description of the challenge

Defining when data (combinations) from manual production resources are GDPR sensitive. Additionally, what framework applies when the data is GDPR sensitive to be able to use the data for smart services nonetheless in order to optimize established production and quality related process.

Why is this challenge important?

Using more sensible and personal information shows an enormous potential for improvement of the quality and output of established manual processes. Treating data that is not GDPR sensitive as if it is, only leads to unnecessary workload, which can be avoided. Should data really be GDPR sensitive, it is important to have a framework ready in order to handle the data correctly. If it is not known, it might lead to not being able to perform the required task. This in turn results in a loss of insight and prohibits possible optimization possibilities.

2. Expected outcome

A clear definition of/distinction between GDPR sensitive and not GDPR sensitive data. Additionally, a framework that has to be followed to be able to use the GDPR sensitive data.
