During the International Youth Freedom Conference (1 and 2 May 2025), 200 young people from the Netherlands and other countries with diverse backgrounds and cultures will come together. They will exchange ideas and work towards a better world and a peaceful future. Influential government leaders will also be present at the conference. The goal is to draw up the 'Treaty of Middelburg', in which concrete proposals are made to realize the Four Freedoms. These proposals will then be presented to all government leaders, with the aim of safeguarding freedom in the future.
The youth want to make the results of the Freedom Conference known to the world. They will therefore be ceremonially handed over to the Secretary General of the United Nations and the Chairman of the NATO summit, planned in the Netherlands in 2025. Parallel to this, the message will be widely disseminated through an extensive media campaign, both nationally and internationally.
We invite you to join us in this historic moment and play a crucial role in shaping a future where freedom is not only cherished, but celebrated as a fundamental principle. Your support makes a tangible difference in the pursuit of a world of inclusive freedom and constructive progress.
The official conference will take place on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 May 2025.
We would like to introduce ourselves: 80 Years of Freedom Zeeland Foundation. We organize an ambitious program to commemorate, celebrate and pass on freedom. This program consists of an International Youth Freedom Conference and the realization of the docudrama 'The liberation of Zeeland and West-Brabant'. We would like to invite you to play a valuable role in the realization of these two special projects.
