The Challenge
Waterschap Brabantse Delta works every day to ensure safe, clean and sufficient water for everyone in our region. Water affects all people regardless of background, age, gender, ability, culture or education. To serve society fairly and effectively, we believe our organisation should reflect the diversity of that society and be inclusive for all. At Waterschap Brabantse Delta, we strive for an inclusive and diverse environment, which is reflected in our corporate values and organizational policies though there is always room for improvement.
Diversity and inclusion do not happen automatically. How can we create a working environment where everyone feels welcome, valued and able to contribute? How can diverse perspectives help us make better decisions, improve innovation and strengthen trust with the communities we serve?

There is little that is as important as water. You truly feel that when you work at Brabantse Delta Water Authority. Together with around 870 dedicated colleagues, we take responsibility. We help ensure safe living, working, and recreation in and around the water — for everyone in the region. Working with water is a life’s work, especially in the face of the climate challenges ahead.
Because while many people may take the availability of water for granted, it certainly is not. We make sure our water is clean and that nature can grow and thrive. Thanks to our colleagues, our dikes remain strong, and farmers can grow their crops. And we do all of this using the latest technologies and innovations — today and into the future.
