1. Description of the challenge

KBM uses custom-made graphite-based consumables with complex shapes. For these, a lot of machining is required, causing these parts to be very expensive. Therefore, KBM is looking for alternative manufactering methods, shapes, or materials to reduce the costs.

2. Expected outcome

An innovative low-cost way to produce this consumable, the use of different material or shapes.
