At Organon’s manufacturing site in Oss, we manufacture medicines and women’s healthcare products such as the contraceptive product Nexplanon. Nexplanon is a reversible, long-acting contraceptive implant that is inserted subdermal in the patient’s arm.
During the assembly and primary packaging phase of the manufacturing process, in process controls (IPCs) are performed to prove the quality of the final product and the integrity of the package. Unfortunately, this means that good-quality products are discarded after execution of the IPC tests. We foresee opportunities to reduce the number of discards by developing smarter IPC methods. During this challenge, you and your team will visit the production lines, witness the assembly and primary packaging process and talk to the experts in order to develop creative ideas. At the end of the day, you will pitch the ideas to the Organon team.
You and your team will help us in creating ideas for smarter IPC methods to improve the efficiency and sustainability of the manufacturing process. Hereby you are contributing to innovative solutions in women’s healthcare.
We believe in a better and healthier life for every woman. And we understand that women are the foundation for a healthier world. As a new company, we are starting to listen to the health needs of women, big and small. So that we can develop tailor-made treatments, because we know we can do so much more for women and their health.
