1. Description of the challenge

Speakup provides SME's with business telecommunication services, such as fixed and mobile telephony and integrations to other work processes like for instance the customers CRM system. In the Netherlands the B2B telecommunications market is dominated by an approach of partner-based sales (i.e. resale or commission by local/regional implementation partners).

This channel-based suffers as the market is saturated with limited diversity of products offered through resale channels. We need to create new alternatives for reaching our prospect clients. Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to find viable alternatives to this partner-based go-to-market approach.

2. Expected outcome

Working together to come up with one or more alternative approaches that help us re-invent the cloud communications channel approach. Key deliverables are:

- Market research (current and potential customers, competitors and free niches)
- New channel/offering description (formulate how this new approach can work side by side with the traditional approach and prevent channel conflict)
- Marketing and Sales approach - define some desirable niches (target audience definition, pricing, promotion)
- Roadmap and costs (determine required investment hurdles and earn-back potential)
