How can Kiwa better meet the needs of our customers and their end users?
As a TIC company (Testing, Inspection, and Certification), we primarily serve as a B2B partner. However, our clients often leverage our advice, certificates, or reports to gain a competitive edge and showcase this to their customers, end users, and consumers. We challenge you to consider: how can we better involve end users in Kiwa’s services and highlight the added value we provide?
This should be viewed through the lens of ESRS S4, part of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards, which focuses on consumers and end users. It guides businesses on reporting the impact of their activities on the people who use their products or services.
We seek advice and solutions to questions such as:
• What does quality information mean to them? Can you provide insights into the real or perceived needs of consumers and end users for our services, or what they recognize as added value in testing, inspection, and certification?
• How can this added value be made visible to this target group?
• How can we engage this target group more closely, so they act as a sounding board for our services and the development of new ones?
• How can we ensure that this greater involvement of end users within Kiwa contributes to improving our services, developing innovative offerings, and maintaining transparency in the market?
Kiwa is an independent global leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC), dedicated to creating trust in products, processes, systems and people. Operating in a wide range of sectors—from energy and construction to food, water, mobility and healthcare—Kiwa plays a crucial role in supporting organizations as they transition toward more sustainable, safe and future‑proof operations. This mission aligns naturally with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which call for collective action to protect the planet, ensure well‑being, and foster responsible economic growth.
At its core, Kiwa contributes to sustainability by enabling companies to meet high standards of quality, safety and environmental responsibility. Through certification schemes, audits, inspections, laboratory testing and expert consultancy, Kiwa helps organizations understand their impact, reduce risks, and continuously improve. This work strengthens the foundations of a sustainable society: reliable infrastructure, responsible production, clean energy systems, and safe working environments.
