VvAA serves as the collective voice and support system for healthcare professionals in the Netherlands. Founded in 1924 by three physicians who believed in the strength of collaboration, the organization has grown into a collective of over 130,000 members. Together, we make our voices heard on sector-wide issues such as meaningful engagement in healthcare, maintaining the right to choose one’s own physician, and reducing bureaucracy. In addition, VvAA provides individual members and their healthcare practices with knowledge sharing, advisory services, professional development, insurance, and other specialized services. All of these offerings are tailored to their specific situations and were developed by and for healthcare professionals. For more information, visit vvaa.nl (Dutch only)
